Silence is the name of an intriguing instrumental solo project from the highy talented songwriter, guitarist, keyboarder, programmer, artist and producer Bruno LeVesque. Hailing from Nantes (France), this jack-of-all-trades grew up with the NWOBHM but the last 15 years, he also listened to various other styles of music. Because of this wide musical interest, he has been influenced by a lot of styles and acts : heavy metal (Annihilator, Mercyful Fate, Saxon, Vengeance, Vicious Rumors ...) AOR/ melodic hard rock (Asia, Chicago, Def Leppard, Europe, Heart, Eddie Money, Mark Spiro, TNT ...) progressive rock/metal (Dream Theater), classic music, blues etc ... But his favourite band of all times is Pretty Maids and as a guitarist he's mainly influenced by Andy LaRoqcue, Tony MacAlpine, Yngwie Malmsteen and John Sykes. Probably you ask yourself now why I'm telling you all this ? Well, it's quite simple actually, because all those influences are now incorporated in "Trouble In Paradise", an instrumental masterpiece that will appeal to a lot of our readers. I really enjoyed listening to this album, and believe me : it rarely happens that I listen to an instrumental album from start to finish. "Trouble In Paradise" should appeal to both fans of melodic hard rock/metal and progressive rock/metal. Although it's instrumental and clocks in at over 74 minutes, this album fascinates from the first note to the last. And all this coming from one single artist. It's almost unbelievable ! Congratulations, Bruno ! Hope to hear more from you in the future.
